Please read all FAQ's before creating an account.
It is best for your username to be your first and last name, or name that you go by. For example Christopher Smith, could create a username Chris-Smith. Do not include any spaces or non alpha numeric characters other than a dash between your first and last name. Problems with sending invitations may occur if your username does not follow this pattern ie. (First-Last). Notice that you cannot change your username once you have created an account. You may contact us to change your username if necessary.
You sign up by completing the questionnaire, creating a username, and creating a password.
Under the login boxes there is a link that says Request New Password. Click on the link and try entering in your email address. If your email address is not recognized, it is possible that you entered it incorrectly or it was blocked by spam guard. Next try entering in your username and if it is recognized then it will resend the registration email. If you do not receive your registration email after trying again then you have entered in your email address incorrectly.

You must purchase a years subscription of the Mercury Universe Press Kit for $60 in order to edit your press kit elements.
You can acquire footage from a previous recording, future recording, or a coach/school athletic department, and send us the footage at the address located in the contact us section.
Once coaches are signed up on Mercury Universe, they are free to search all Press Kits according to the criteria they are searching for.
There should be examples of what coaches/agents are looking for in the sample press kits. Also you may find info from other FAQ's. For samples not yet listed, we will compile a list of criteria as soon as it becomes known.
How to convert your video files ie. avi mov wmv into a flash SWF so that you may upload it to your Press Kit. First edit your file so that it is 4Mb or less. Your files must be 4Mb or less to upload to the server. Once your clip is 4 Mb or less download Snosh . Snosh is a video converter, and you will download a trial version that will let you convert your video files up to 10 times. The following are suggested settings for your video conversion.
You have 2 choices of input formats when entering text into a page or story, (without HTML) or (with HTML). When using (without HTML) the lines and paragraphs in your text break to the next line automatically when a blank line is encountered. When using (with HTML) you must break the lines using <br>. Both input formats however are restricted to using the following HTML tags.
